The Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節) is coming up on September 30 and my parents are already complaining about mooncakes. As far as my family is concerned, mooncakes are like Chinese fruitcakes – dense rocks of sugar and lard everyone feels compelled to give but no one actually likes to eat.

Hong Kong company G.O.D. has come up with some mooncake designs that I definitely do not want to eat. They’ve created something that is at once awesome and a little disturbing. I put the image after the jump in case they might be NSFW:
